Rte 222 (Susquehanna Road) Closure between Port Deposit and Rte 1 at Conowingo

From 9th July 2007 through most of August 2007 it will not be possible to travel along route 222 (Susquehanna Road) from Port Deposit to Route 1 (Conowingo Road).

A section of Route 222 will be completely closed between Canal Road and Maryland Avenue north of Port Deposit.

The State Highway Administration has published a notice regarding this closure, and suggested a detour route from US1 via Route 276.

Attached is a map of the suggested detour, but there is an alternative rout via Dr. Jack Road, which we would not recommend for commercial traffic.
